INFORMATION:
This was the Women's Hostel in WW1 and it must have been built in brick as there was plenty of bricks around the woodland.


The women's jobs could be very mundane as cleaning and cooking, but others that could drive, became drivers of all forms of motor transport. Another woman's job was making & repairing the fabric of aircraft surfaces.
